I got super lucky and got two like 1 minute apart, granted it did take me an hour of grinding and going to sleep to get there

Make sure your Lantern is on I did this about 4 hours worth of farming tried everything decided to turn the Lantern on it dropped the first time

The earliest you can actually farm this is at Cliffbottom Catacombs which is exactly right above Stormveil Castle on the map. So you don't have to go up the elevator to get the axe

Got it on my 4th attempt. I’m amazed, this is the only weapon I’ve grinded for that hasn’t taken hours to get.

I went through every area and killed everything at least once, except for these motherfuckers. I like fighting the ones on mounts because I just mount up myself and equip the carian great sword and carian piercer, makes for a fun time. But that swarm of archers is just impossible for me to clear whether I go stealthy, ranged, magic, powerful weapon art, nothing seems to make a difference because it's damn near impossible to just take them one by one. As soon as you kill one of them, the rest rain arrows on you. No way to cheese them because they can hit you from farther than you can hit them even with the longest range magic available. They pissed me off so much that I happily slaughtered every one of their albinauric cousins in the Snowfields and Mohwyn's Palace.

So im having this on epic but there is no steamworks folder any more. Edit: The solution was to switch the game to DX12 in the game settings and then go clear my Nvidia shader cache using instructions found on the web

It took me wayyy to long to get this stoopid ass sword… it has a dropchance of 8% (at 100 discovery) … I have a base discovery of 127, and I used silver tear mask for +8 arcane so. 135 discovery, with silver scarab +80 discovery I have already more than 200 discovery already double the drop chance ( 16%) and I used silver pickled fowl feet for extra 50 discovery …. So I have 2.5x base discovery with a discovery above 250…. So I’d have a dropchance of 20% but I needed to grind this Bullshit weapon for like 30 minutes… I wastes like 7 fowl feet on this crab sword…
